“Unfortunately I had two auto glass incidents in just a few weeks. Both times Oswaldo came out and did an amazing job. Communication with him is always quick and friendly. Even when heavy rain delayed all his appointments, he still came out to us after dark and fixed our windshield. Really great service. Setting up an appointment with Independent is simple and quick, if a little unconventional. If you call their phone line you get a message that quickly disconnects before you can leave a voicemail. But then you'll get a text to your phone where you can request a quote and interact with their scheduling person (who is also very friendly and responsive). Not sure why they do it this way but it's worked just fine for me twice in the last 3 weeks. Stoked to support this local neighborhood business, even though I hope I don't have to again any time soon.”

“Greatest auto glass repair man of all time. They replaced my window after I was broken into. A few weeks later my window broke and I called them to come check it out. My window regulator was broken, and he walked me through and showed me what was broken, and also why it was NOT his fault that it was broken. It was broken due to normal wear in a 20 year old car. Nevermind that it wasn't his fault, he performed the repair for free. All I could afford was the part, and he followed me to the 2 stores in the rain (the first didn't have the part) and then performed the repair for free and refused my last $10 I had to pay him. I use my car for work and needed it fixed and he saved me! Thank you Independent!

“Independent Auto Glass was recommended to me, and I couldn't be happier with the service. I called late in the morning (about 10:30am), and Oswald was here at 3pm. Even if I were bleeding out of my eyeballs, the doctor couldn't have seen me any quicker! The install process on my '03 Crown Vic was a no-brainer for him, and he was done in an hour (even with me observing/getting in the way). He was able to save my TX inspection sticker, apartment parking permit, and my TxTag without breaking a sweat. He even blew out the debris from the wiper area, very nice! I will absolutely recommend IAG to anyone and everyone!”

“This guy is the best. My car was broken into the night before, broken glass everywhere. He came in the same day and stayed late(an hour after they were supposed to close!) to clean out the inside of my car with broken glass even though he had no obligation to. The car was brand new and even smelled nice, he said it wasn't a detail charge but all of my stuff was neat and tidy when I got back(MUCCCHHH nicer than i keep it) and it smelled great. Now on to the window. Needless to say service was speedy and the job was done in my apartment making it very convenient. I had an older car and he had the mirror immediately in stock and didn't have to order it. If you ever need a replacement this is the place to go!! The reviews are no joke the service is top tier.”

“After checking pricing from other places for replacing the cracked windshield on my 2018 Optima, they were the most reasonable. Scheduling was very easy and they showed up to my work to replace the windshield. The tech (Oswald) was extremely polite and within 30 minutes he was done and I had a brand new windshield on my car. There was no left over debris and the car was left very clean. I am very pleased with this company and would highly recommend them.”

“I had such an amazing experience with Oswald from Independent Auto Glass. This is the second time this year i've had to get my windshield replaced. My luck is pretty terrible at times.. The first vendor was a little cheaper and the windshield was secure, but the work looked a little sloppy to be honest. After doing a lot more research, and even scheduling an appointment with another 5 star vendor that didn't show up, I found Independent Auto Glass. Not only did they have my windshield in stock, they were able to come to my office the next day to replace it. It even started to rain about 30 minutes before my appointment, and Oswald helped to find a covered location nearby so we didn't have to reschedule. 45 minutes later my windshield was replaced and the work was quality. I hope I won't need to anytime soon, but they will be my go to for window replacement moving forward.”

Independent Auto Glass was much cheaper than what I was quoted by Safe Light (almost $150 cheaper). They were able to come out the next day and Oswald was very efficient and courteous.”

He told me they had a mobile technician in my area and he could be at my location in about 30 minutes. Oswald called and was at my address in less than 30 minutes. He was so very nice! They use cardboard to protect your car from the tools and product they use. He assured me (before I even said anything) that the cardboard would not scratch my car. Oswald did an amazing job! My windshield had a long crack and needed to be replaced. They asked me to send them pictures of my windshield and helped me figure out everything I needed.
Oswaldo was the technician assigned to me and he was awesome! I wasn't available on the time that we originally agreed due to unexpected work but he graciously agreed to meet a few hours later. He was really courteous and replaced my windshield in about 45 minutes while I sent a few emails at a nearby coffee shop. I really liked the quality and cleanliness of his work.
Also, the cost was was substantially less than other shops and certainly the dealership!

“These guys were one of several local businesses I called for an estimate and timeframe after the big company “SL” failed miserably/left me hanging. All of the shops I called were great in honesty and price (stay local folks) but being in a time crunch I chose Independent since they were ready and willing to come out same day. Walter spoke with me on the phone while in route to jobs and was very patient, taking time to answer all of my questions in great detail-no holding back or giving half-truths just to sell me. The technicians were an hour or so later than expected but took the time from the job they were on to call to inform me and make sure the later time would work for me. Oswald was very nice, laid back, down to earth and honest. I could see he’d been working hard all day in 100 degree heat (then had to squeeze me in the end of the day) yet he didn’t show a hint of irritation. He spent time explaining to me what he saw of the situation, what he can do, what could or could not be a problem…again in great detail without sugar coating. Within an hour or so the windshield was replaced and he showed me the before, during (once old windshield was out) and after photos he’d taken and explained all that he found (some rust-hardly enough to be an issue, etc from previous owner getting a bad replacement) and the difference with the correct moldings, etc. He took the time to explain why the crack happened, when to remove the tape, that I could drive the car right away though keep it short until morning, etc…and of course that if I found any issues to call them. He was fantastic. They were all fantastic and though it has only been an hour or so since the replacement I feel comfortable with this review. I’ll come back with updates should there be any issue. Doubt I’ll be heard from again on this particular review though. And they were $100 less than the big corporate jerks that left me hanging.”

“A rock from a semi chip my windshield on IH35. Thought nothing of it till I got a nice big long crack on my windshield. CAlled my insurance geico said I need to go thru Safelite $409 so since it’s less then my deductible i have to fit the bill. Found independent auto glass called them same day came by remove old windshield installed new one in just a couple minutes where nice and polite. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Total was $259 half of safelite. Thanks guys”
